Carlos is a corporate and private securities attorney at MW Law. His practice focuses on assisting experienced and emerging fund managers with fund formations, joint venture structuring, and securities compliance related to private equity investment. 

Carlos brings ten years of real estate legal experience to MW Law. Before joining MW Law Carlos practiced regulatory land use in San Antonio, Texas where he represented real estate developers in zoning, platting, variances, annexation and economic development incentives. Carlos also served as lead transactional attorney for a firm in South Texas assisting clients with real estate and oil and gas transactional matters.

Carlos received his B.A in political science, summa cum laude, from the University of Texas at San Antonio and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.  He is a native South Texan by way of Beeville and San Antonio. In his free time, he enjoys fitness, cooking, golf, and upland bird hunting.
